Derek's communion after baptism | Derek was baptized in July at New Life Lakeview! What a guy.
Then with tears (ours, of course)
we left Vicky at Grace University in
Omaha this month. She is doing
very well and she loves it there.
We miss her very much though.
We are still getting used to the idea
of Vicky not living with our family.
Please pray for her and even more
for the rest of us. | Vicky at sunset on the North Rim of the

| For our last hurrah all together as a family, we had a fun time camping and hiking in national parks. CHECK OUT OUR PICTURES ON FACEBOOK.
First we went to Team Expansion's office for two weeks to meet people face-to-face and learn more about our organization. We really feel that we fit right in with the
Team Expansion family. One important thing we've been encouraged to do is gather 400 prayer partners who will commit to pray regularly for us, our Mongolian teammates and the advancement of the Kingdom in
Mongolia. We know that many of you are praying so to formally sign up, please email us at mongoliamills@gmail.com | |

 | We still don't have an apartment in Bayankhongor - our new base in Mongolia. We will need a place when we return there in January from our furlough. People have told us that we may be out in the snow come January, but they've been wrong before so we are PRAYING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE.
Meanwhile back in Bayankhongor, our teammates are building relationships for next year's Community Health Evangelism (CHE)
work. We have talked with them a couple of times already on Skype about their growing involvement in the local community. We miss them so much and they miss 'grandma & grandpa' (that's us). Please pray for their work and that we will be able to adequately encourage them long-distance. |

Thank you for your prayers for us, especially as our family adjusts to big changes with Vicky at college. Thanks also for praying to the Mongolian people and our team back in Bayankhongor. We certainly appreciate your gifts and encouraging words too.

Here is this month's Team Expansion letter:
"Thank you for your gift to God through Team Expansion." Notice the way I've worded that opening statement - because,
frankly, we never want to confuse the issue. Your donation to God is just that: a donation to the Lord, not to man. The fact
that you chose to channel your gift through Team Expansion is, for us, a sacred trust. It demands that we enter into a covenant with you - a covenant to utilize your gift as a launching pad for getting the words of the Bible out of the Bible and into the hearts, hands, and heads of unreached peoples all over the world. "Transforming communities by planting churches
among the unreached" is more than a vision statement to us. It's a contract. We pledge to do our part because you gave your gift to God through us... and we commit to maximizing the impact of that gift among those who have never had a chance to say yes to Jesus.
Gratefully yours,
Doug Lucas
