Congratulations Vicky! | Vicky graduated at the end of May! The Ulaanbaatar
Homeschool Co-op had a nice ceremony for the graduates
complete with old pictures of them as little kids and
touching testimonies. Everybody cried, of course. It's sad
and thrilling, scary and exciting to see our eldest step into
the future God has for her. Next August she's off the Grace
University. We and Vicky's brothers are so proud of her. | |

Change can be energizing, but so many changes are taking their toll emotionally. We would appreciate your prayers for
Vicky going to college, the boys still with us in Mongolia, settling into our new home in Bayankhongor, and starting up the new CHE work with the team. Thanks for standing with us in this. We really need your prayers!
We, and the three Mongol families on our CHE team, have moved to Bayankhongor. We had a good send-off from Ulaanbaatar with many friends promising to pray for protection and fruitful work. | Duya over Bayankhongor town |

Now that we have moved, serious relationship building can begin in the places where we want to start CHE work this year. The drill rig broke down (ugh!!) and we had to ask World Mission Prayer League friends to bring precious spare
parts from the States. Now and are
ready to go again. Next stop, Shinejinst.
Please pray for the folks in Shinejinst.
We are organizing things with local
leaders now and hope to start something
down there this month.
Thanks for your encouraging words via
email and skype. Thanks especially for
praying for our work and supporting the
CHE team. Your prayers and gifts are
keeping us going here. | Climbing hills near our new town |

Here is this month's Team Expansion letter:
Did you ever stop to realize that Nehemiah didn't start up his short-term mission trips until he made an advance set-up trip? See it in Nehemiah 2:11-16. He started by staying 3 days. We don't know what he was doing during that time. Getting over jet lag? I doubt it; I think Jerusalem might have only been, at most, one time zone away from the palace where he was working. Maybe he was praying. Scripture gives us no indication. When he did
finally hit the streets, he did so in a very quiet way, conducting his research at night with just a few cohorts. This was special forces, special ops stuff -- for the Lord, of course. He then immediately translated his research to mobilization. He didn't leave the film in the can. And when others tried to discourage him and even attribute
false motives to his work, he deflected their criticism by staying focused on the Cause. All in all, he seems to be
a very effective researcher. You know -- practically every Team Expansion missionary has to be a researcher as
well. We have to learn what makes our adopted land "tick," how to reach their hearts, and how to communicate
the Good News. In a way, we're just following in Nehemiah's footsteps! Your prayers & partnering funds provide
for that research -- and we appreciate it!
